C/M City Bus - Retrofit Kits
C/M City Bus - Retrofit Kits
While we can build new Ground-Up designs with different Air Compression Powered Variants Retrofit Kits will bridge the Gap to get all City Buses & Public Transit off Gasoline - Diesel
The coming 2030 Oil-Gas ban & Gasoline-Diesel Ban leaves us building Retrofit Kits to address the situation including Mass Public Transit
Toronto as an example has TTC & requires all Buses & services to switch to alternative Zero-Emissions alternatives between 2025-2030 permanently
Costs to transition ate equivalent to fuel + a percentage of maintenance costs for 1-3 years per unit then lower maintenance costs with zero or closer to zero energy costs
A low cost transition that cannot be beat
At years 2-4 with a 5-10+ year ownership schedule savings are over 20% from Gasoline - Diesel equivalent & above Hydrogen or EV Battery Electric
C/M + C/M Partner - Blueprint fees keep fair costs - pricing in the transition while investments benefiting previous transition to new found opportunities replacing as a long term solution
100% of all global City Budgets & smaller Centers save money within the first 2-4 years overall in the transition for equivalent or better performance where taxes can be lowered slightly & funds allocated for other projects
Air Compression & Piston-Punch Air Compression becomes the best option for Energy
ENERGY COMPANIES
Those remaining under a Basic Needs supply - maintenance piggybacked off other investments
Most will transition to Raw-Material resources & Silo-Farming fast-grown resources to meet supply demands from Energy while retaining Basic Needs Energy supply infrastructure in a Not-For-Profit model as we are deeming Energy at Not-For-Profit Basic Need rather than For-Profit
Energy Low-Cost or No-Cost to meet the Basic Needs equation stimulating economic sustainability as a long-term global effort
TRADITIONAL COSTS - CITY BUS + MODERN
The cost to fuel a city bus depends on the type of fuel used and the bus's efficiency:
1. Diesel
A bus with a fuel efficiency of 4 miles per gallon and a fuel cost of $2.60 per gallon would cost around $29,250 annually for fuel
2. CNG
A bus with a fuel efficiency of 3.2 miles per diesel gallon equivalent (DGE) and a fuel cost of $1.10 per gallon would cost around $15,470 annually for fuel
3. Hybrid diesel electric
A bus with a fuel efficiency of 5.5 miles per gallon and a fuel cost of $2.60 per gallon would cost around $21,270 annually for fuel
4. Battery electric
A bus with an off-peak cost of $0.10 per kWh and a peak cost of $0.20 per kWh would cost around $10,800 annually for fuel equivalent charged energy during off-peak hours and around $21,600 annually for fuel equivalent charged energy during peak hours
5. Hydrogen fuel cell
A bus with a fuel efficiency of 6.5 miles per kg and a fuel cost of $8.60 per kg would cost around $59,540 annually for fuel
Electric buses can be more cost-effective than buses that use fossil fuels. They can save on fuel and maintenance costs, and can have a five year payback period
6. Air Compression - Refill
Constraints on refilling every 100-400 Km with a MPG rating due to refilling
Annual cost for fuel equivalence at $1000-$25,000 depending on costs to compress air into containers for use
7. Air Compression - Self Refilling Piston-Punch
No refilling fee unless capped metering for R&D + Capped taxes with no MPG rating due to no refilling. Unlimited
Annual cost for fuel equivalence at $0.00 or capped at under US-CAD $25 for 400 Km metered
Lucky Number 7. Winner of the Race
Maintenance costs - pricing extra with #6 & #7 having the lowest cost & pricing for maintenance while Flywheel hybrids offer similar benefits
